It is important that everyone visiting Darwin Gardens feels safe whilst enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

• A welcoming environment – please use the litter bins to dispose of litter, clean up after your dog, and keep your dog under control and on a lead when there are sheep in the gardens or on the lower parts of the moor.

• Family friendly – please do not leave young children unsupervised, especially near the pond and the steep slope down to the ghyll.

• Picnics – please enjoy using the picnic tables and benches, but note that barbecues and fires of any kind are strictly prohibited in the gardens and on Ilkley Moor.
