Meetings of the Trust

The Sole Trustee

Ilkley Town Council is the Sole Trustee of the Darwin Gardens Millennium Green Trust and, as such, is able to exercise all the powers of a trustee to the Charity. 

Meetings

The Trust Deed stipulates the following:
• The Trust shall hold at least two ordinary meetings each year
• A Chairman shall be elected at the first ordinary meeting
• There shall be a quorum that consists of at least one third of the number of members
• Each matter shall be determined by a majority of votes
• The Chairman of the meeting shall have a casting vote

AGM

• The AGM must be open to the public
• The Chairman of the AGM should be the Chairman of the Trust
• In their absence, a Chairman of the meeting must be appointed before any other business is transacted
• The Trust shall present the accounts and annual report for the preceding year
• So far as is reasonable, the Trust shall pay due regard to any expression or opinion or suggestion made at the AGM

Tuesday 21st July 2026 @ 6pm
Tuesday 20th October 2026 @ 6pm
Tuesday 19th January 2027 @ 6pm
